Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Review

I guess this review is extremely late, because I have been playing the Xbox 360 Edition for quite a while. It was released in June 2012, but I think it is time I make a review on it, after playing it for quite a while, hope it gives you some good info-

Game: Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

Creators: Mojang, 4J Studios, Microsoft Studios

Price: 1600 Microsoft Points (About US$25, sorry I don't live in the US)

Available: Online (can be downloaded directly on the Xbox 360 console which needs an Internet connection or from Xbox.com with an Xbox Live account)

Our Rating: 3/5 Quite good

Our Review: Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has been around since June 2012, but still, quite a number of players on the other versions actually don't know about the Xbox 360 Edition, so here's a brief review.

If you liked fighting monsters, building crazy stuff, exploring the worlds, or even killing poor boxy Minecraft animals for their meat, and always wanted to do it on the big awesome screen, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is great for you.

Everything is done with your Xbox 360 controller, once you played it for long enough, it is extremely easy to use the controls in the game. I actually find it a lot easier to use than the Pocket Edition controls.

Unlike the PC Edition, the worlds that you spawn in are not infinite and you can craft a map, but the worlds are definitely a lot bigger than the PE Edition worlds. The worlds (especially mountain biomes) are really beautiful on the big screen, and everything is crystal clear, and you can do everything that can be done on the PC Edition, but there are a few things that I want to touch on.

1. It sometimes crashes. I have never played any Xbox 360 game that crashes, I think it is a good idea to fix this, it is so ANNOYING! Especially when you just finished building something...but at least there is autosave every 30 minutes.

2. Herobrine is not officially removed in this edition, it just makes me freak out a bit every time I spawn in a new world.

3. Downloadable maps, I beg you Mojang Studios! It will be a very good idea on the big screen, I must say, and it will be very fun too. This is the reason I lowered my rating a bit. You pay more than any of the other edition, but you don't get downloadable maps. I would love downloadable maps on this edition, including ones on the PC Edition, that way we would get our money's worth, probably.

So overall, this edition is great, but there is some room for improvement.
